Vickie's career ambitions initially did not include nursing. She states, "I never wanted to do nursing. I wanted to be a physical therapist for the NFL." Vickie's specialty is MICU nursing. She eagerly shares new advancements in nursing with new employees making her an excellent preceptor. Her team stated that she has excellent leadership abilities and recognizes the importance of being a good "team player."
