Vicky is the manager of PDAY here in the Children’s Hospital. Vicky is well known for serving the community as she and her team have a “community give back” monthly. In early March, Vicky and her daughter were in the Town Commons and amongst a road race. She noted a man down and walked over. Realized he was blue and began CPR, while instructing his wife to give breaths until Emergency Services arrived. She helped to save this man’s life, as in he is completely normal today!

About two years ago, Vicky observed a young man in his car who had overdosed, she performed CPR and save this young man too. Vicky emulates the VH values and we are so proud to call her one of our own. Even though she is a pediatric trained nurse, she knew well the skills to perform adult CPR.

In addition, Vicky always stands ready to help with care for our pediatric patients anywhere at VMC!! She has implemented processes to ensure coverage for Peds Covid testing from the community. Vicky is a true DAISY Nurse!
