Vicky Locey, DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC

Vicky has been an incredible leader and inspiration to nursing through her tenure at KP Santa Rosa. She has a strong vision, promotes professional development through her mentorship, and sets high standards for nursing excellence. With so much influence, she also takes the time to recognize nurses and leaders for the impact they make every day, which means a great deal. Vicky has long dreamed of earning Magnet designation and has worked steadfastly to put the systems, structures, and people in place to make this a reality. She has also modeled ongoing personal and professional development by achieving certification, advanced education, and volunteering in the community. She talks often about the legacy we leave as nurses and leaders, and hers will be long-lasting in myriad ways. I feel honored to have practiced alongside her and learned so much that I can, in turn, provide to the next generations of nurses.
