Victor Teran, BSN, RN

My mother arrived Sunday from Kingwood CCC. She was in A fib and had pneumonia. We were both tired. Victor Teran was the nurse, and he had such a great sense of humor that he turned a very stressful and exhausting situation into a surprisingly pleasant one. In fact, he had us laughing so hard we were crying! My mother had Victor for the rest of that day, and the day she was moved to a different floor, it was obvious that he didn’t just care about his job; he cared about her as a human being. He didn’t just take vitals and administer medications. He engaged her in conversation and always remained humorous, upbeat, and comforting.
