The medical community does not know how to give credence to touch, but I can tell you it is very powerful medicine when administered at the right time and dosage. Victor was skillful in proper administration. The other skill is communication; while his hands were often occupied he never neglected to keep me in the loop with soft-spoken informative explanations of what was taking place, why so long, what to expect, and reassurance.

Victor was calm and always had a smile on his face. Victor spoke in low controlled tones and never lost his cool. Victor also recognized that the family was worried and checked on our comfort as well. Victor stood out as doing more than just his job.
