She helped answer our questions and found the answers to the questions she was unsure about.
My husband was admitted unexpectedly for open-heart surgery following the diagnosis of a myxoma. After all the testing, the decision was made to admit.

We got to CCU late in the day. This nurse was our night shift nurse. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She was very kind and compassionate. And we could tell right away how knowledgeable she was. We had a lot of questions regarding the process and recovery for open-heart surgery. She helped answer our questions and found the answers to the questions she was unsure about.

It was late in the night, and I needed to go home. I was unsure where I had parked since we came so early in the morning. This nurse went out of her way to help me find my car. She actually walked outside with me until I found it. And then she went back and let my husband know that I was okay and that I had found my car.

This nurse is fabulous and very deserving of a DAISY Award. As an RN myself and my husband, an MD, felt very comfortable going home for the night knowing that he was in good hands with this nurse.
