She was confident, compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind. She was supportive of all my decisions but also willing to offer her expertise upon request.
Victoria "Tori" has a special place in my heart as she has been an active part of our growing family.

She was my nurse for the birth of my first son, W. At the time, she was a relatively new nurse to the unit, but you would never have been able to tell. She was confident, compassionate, knowledgeable, and kind. She was supportive of all my decisions but also willing to offer her expertise upon request. She was so kind and guided my husband. She labored with me for her entire shift, and just as she was about to clock out, I started to push. With her overly kind heart, she came back, despite it being the early hours of the morning, to be with me during W's birth.

Flash forward 20 months and I enter the maternity ward at 9 months pregnant with my second son and lo-and-behold she is there! My heart could have burst. To have the comfort of seeing her again and then having her be our nurse for the remainder of her shift was the greatest blessing to my family.

Crazy enough, when I arrived, we found out I was 8cm dilated and ready to meet our second little guy. She was able to coach, guide, and comfort me through my second delivery and meeting our son, H.

She is now (basically) a part of our family, and I cannot imagine having given birth to my boys without her.

She is perfect balance of wisdom, kindness, patience, and relatability. A truly exceptional nurse that has been a gift to my family and I.
