Tori’s work as a nurse has led her to dialysis, not something she probably thought she’d do when she was in nursing school years ago. After working in several hospitals, gaining experience and knowledge, she landed here at DaVita in Jacksonville.

This is a place where she has truly taken on challenge after challenge in her path to help patients become healthier and live happier lives. And she’s made an impact on our teammate’s workday becoming more fulfilling and fun.

There has not been a challenge yet that Tori has backed down from. She’s got the tenacity it takes to challenge patients to better care for themselves, including patients’ families, to know the whys behind the decisions, and teach how dialysis works for the patient and how to properly care for them. She involves so many resources to make the biggest difference possible.

There are so many ways we can appreciate someone, but I honestly feel like sometimes it’s just not enough. Hopefully, with this award, she can feel a bit of appreciation for her and all the hard work and heart she pours into the clinic.
