I recently had the opportunity to benefit the hospitality of Ward 6-C. Victoria was my nurse over a critical period which included the diagnosis and commencing treatment of my condition. Victoria took "client ownership" each and every day, which means that I was her client and she was ensuring that all went smooth from getting blood work tested to starting the treatment and hand off to other staff. I was happy to see her each morning as each step was explained to me as to the process and it was affirmed that it would be taken care of and it was. Being in the hospital is stressing enough, but to have someone who is knowledgeable, caring and gives a patient the comfort and confidence that they are being taken care of and only need to worry about themselves. Victoria is a role model for all young nurses in the profession. Victoria is a role model for this hospital and any hospital and staff with the way to interact and treat your "clients" during their stay.
