Victoria began introductions saying she was a "handler" meaning "I will handle it." Indeed, she did for our entire procedure! She gave background information on the doctor with lots of reassurance on the procedure and recovery protocol. She took special attention to my daughter and then turned that same attention to myself when she left for surgery. She is a role model for all with her compassion, sense of humor, and knowledge for the families she helps.
We have always been a huge fan of Children's Hospital and it is no surprise that today went perfectly! Victoria made a quick connection with my child and made sure to follow her throughout the entire day. This angel knew the exact words and manner to take concerning what every parent fears-surgery-and we actually laughed enough to say it was "almost" fun.
You are blessed with this nurse on your staff, but we are "touched" by her care, concern, and compassion. Congrats to Children's Hospital for hiring the best!
