I was hospitalized three different times after a serious car accident that left me with multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvis and hip that required surgery. The first time I met Victoria, she was still in training. Even then, I could see how compassionate and dedicated she was to her patients. She always took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening with my care.

During my second hospitalization, I was on a different floor and did not have Victoria as my nurse. When I returned for my third hospitalization on 4 East, I was excited to see that Victoria had become a registered nurse. Having the opportunity to be cared for by her again was truly special.

Victoria consistently went above and beyond to make me feel supported during a very difficult period in my life. Recovering from my injuries was physically painful and emotionally exhausting, but she always treated me with kindness, patience, and respect. No matter how busy the unit was, she took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make sure I felt cared for. She never made me feel like just another patient.

Watching Victoria grow from a nurse in training to a confident and skilled RN while maintaining the same compassion and dedication is something I will never forget. Her care made a lasting impact on my recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the difference she made in my life.

Victoria truly embodies what it means to be an extraordinary nurse and is very deserving of a DAISY Award.

Thank you, Victoria, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
