Victoria Hernandez-Reiner, MSN, RN
Professor Reiner changed the course of my nursing school journey. Prior to her class, I had a challenging experience in clinical that resulted in extreme anxiety associated with clinical rotations, instructors, and my competency.
When I met Professor Reiner, I felt immediate relief and hope because she kept her word by being supportive, understanding, and adaptable to our strengths. She listened, and we saw follow-through in her actions. Not only did I feel better in my theory class, but I saw improvements in my overall grades and clinical knowledge.
She is also my clinical instructor, and she let us be independent while supporting us when needed. She was encouraging and let us grow without fear of being reprimanded. She is the reason I am still in this program and succeeding today.
