She has compassion for her team and for her patients and makes them feel special, heard, and cared for.
Victoria is very resourceful and helpful.  Her pleasant and positive attitude makes her easy to approach and she is always willing to help.  She will literally stop what she is doing to handle your concerns and make sure you have the equipment you need to complete your task at hand.  She puts a smile on my face as she does many others.  When I see her she always greets me with such a warm smile and hug.  She is so caring towards her coworkers and that is something we truly need.  She is very genuine and nothing she does ever feels forced.  She has compassion for her team and for her patients and makes them feel special, heard, and cared for.  Victoria deserves to be honored and shown extra love and appreciation as she does for her colleagues and patients daily.

Victoria exemplifies the definition of the DAISY Award.  I have worked with Victoria in clinics and in the office. Her compassion for our population of patients is unmatched! She shows up before everyone and gets all of our vaccines and supplies lined up for us so that we are ready to serve our patients effectively. Victoria always puts others before herself and she is a leader in our department. When our nurse manager is out Victoria fills that role and coordinates scheduling and sometimes has to jump into clinic to make sure that all clinics are filled. Victoria also heads up our UBC team within our department and coordinates parties and recognition events. As a driver, I don’t always get the praise other positions get but Victoria always has a smiling face and encouragement when we come in to work. Victoria is a true DAISY Nurse.

Of all my coworkers, the one who seems to hold us all together is Victoria Jimenez.  She is our anchor.  She keeps our clinics stocked, keeps our vaccines in order, and organized for our TVFC audits.  If we have a question, she is always within reach and helps us make sense of situations and she does it without ever making us feel bad for not knowing something.  For that reason, I never hesitate to call her with any issue. It is not unusual to find her in our clinic organizing the shelves and making labels to make our jobs easier. Whenever supplies change or meds or vaccines come in new packaging, she lets us know before they show up in our stock.  Whether you are a new nurse or an old nurse, having someone who supports you is so welcome.  No one likes to call attention to themselves for not knowing something.  Victoria is always comforting with her assistance.  She never makes us feel bad for not knowing something.

I MUST nominate Victoria Jimenez, RN.
This is how she became a HOMES RN.
She was an essential part of HOMES COVID drives.
I saw how hard she worked, and she became a HOMES RN soon after.

She is respectful, pleasant and does not judge our homeless patients. She is kind and selfless, and as a Podiatry nurse, she washed many feet for the podiatrist. She did it with respect and a smile. Had a conversation with patients instead of letting them focus on how dirty their feet were.
She is my super champion of everything!
She is a HOMES pediatric expert.
If I tell her nurses are not understanding something she creates power points and does lunch and learns!
She has educated her fellow nurses on many things some topics are:
•    IMMTRAC
•    NEWBORN SCREEN
•    PEDIATRIC ASSESSMENT
•    IMMUNIZATIONS
She is exactly the kind of nurse every leader needs next to them. She takes pride in what she does. She loves her patients and is deserving of a DAISY Award.

Victoria is the Nurse that handles restocking all the drivers' supplies and Vaccines for the mobile units. She is here bright and early before all drivers even clock in and start to load their mobile units. She continues to surprise me with the workload she handles and does it with a smile and a great attitude. Victoria keeps all Medical, business, and other supplies replenished. I would like for this committee to really consider my friend, co-worker, and one of the best Nurses this department, Hospital, County, State, Nation, and World has. Victoria may God continue to bless your mind, and hands daily so that you, continue the great work you do on an everyday basis.
