Victoria Lanoue, BSN, RN

Victoria was nominated by the daughter of a patient who was transferred to the ICU with sepsis. The nominator shared that, as a nurse herself, she found it especially difficult to watch her mother so ill and felt helpless in comforting her family. She expressed tremendous gratitude for Victoria, who went above and beyond throughout the night, answering questions, providing updates, and offering reassurance during a very stressful time.

Victoria's kindness extended not only to the patient, but also to the patient's husband, who remained at her bedside. Knowing the couple had been married for 50 years and had never spent a night apart, Victoria helped ensure he felt welcomed and supported while staying with his wife.
