Vicky demonstrates the qualities of a "Skilled Nurse". She comes to work with such a positive attitude. One day early on in treatment, I experienced severe migraines afterward. Vicky, being such an "Active Listener" suggested IV hydration before and after treatment. Since then the migraines subsided and the treatment is going well.

Vicky is highly patient-focused, putting patients and myself at ease when you interact with her. "Chemotherapy Nurses" are always under pressure, and Vicky handles every situation with ease. She is highly organized and creative. She always has a solution to an issue, whether it is using Post-it notes, or collaborating with another nurse to accomplish the task at hand. She's on the go with her positive attitude and love for her patients. Vicky makes me and everyone laugh with her super-funny sense of humor. She puts everyone at ease always. Vicky welcomes me every week with her beautiful smile and sense of humor. I just want to thank Vicky for problem-solving and for coming up with an idea of hydration with treatment. I owe her everything.

In closing, Vicky exhibits all of the characteristics of a skilled nurse. They include good listening and communication skills. She cares so much about her patients. She truly is our advocate. Supporting the patients throughout her day. Thank you, Vicky!
