April 2022 Honoree
Victoria Moushon, RN
After having spent days very worried about my mother, I was beginning to feel very depleted. I got caught in the rain and was drenched (on top of all my stress). I felt low and nasty. Victoria gathered some stuff together and let me take a shower. It’s difficult to put into words how much better that shower made me feel. Later she came into the room just to check on me. Her compassion touched my heart and lifted my soul. As a Christian, we say, “Go be Jesus to somebody.” That night, Victoria was Jesus to me!

Victoria was so kind and caring during our stay here at the hospital. Though there were others who left an impression, there is just something special about Victoria. She goes beyond her expertise as a nurse. She is patient and listens to our concerns. She has a way of calming you. Your husband being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance is a fearful experience. Victoria had a way of making us calm and gaining our trust. She is a true nurse in every sense of the word!
