Victoria Peras-Amarado stands out to patients and their families for her gentle caring nursing practice. Victoria, working in the Intensive Care Unit, interacts with families that are fearful, grieving, uncertain, and hopeful. Victoria, nominated by several ICU families and some of the most critical patients, shows dignity and respect to all. Victoria, a peer leader on the night shift and on the day shift, provides education, information, updates, gentle words, and gentle care for those most critical patients. Victoria is a wonderful DAISY NURSE.
