Victoria Pitts was super hardworking, kind, and cheerful every day. She went out of her way to help me and my mom eat breakfast and share various meals and memories together during my unexpected 2 week stay in the hospital. Every day she brought a positive vibe and warm smile to my room and really made my time here so much better. As my hospital stay got longer and longer, she helped me through my struggles with loneliness and just having company during the day. Every day when I went outside of my floor, Victoria asked for a makeshift "weather report," which made me feel excited every day to report back to her and made me feel like I was truly cared about.

I had never been in a hospital before for a procedure or anything, and when my appendix burst, I had to be in a hospital for around 2 weeks. At the end of my stay, I had to get a PICC line, and from what I had heard, the process of getting one was horrid. I was so scared that I was gonna be in pain and be in a room full of people I didn't know, but Victoria happened to be in there. The entire time, she held my hand and talked to me so that I was distracted and also breathing (I was holding my breath from being scared). I don't think I could have made it through that without her, and I'm so glad she has been my nurse.

Thank you, Victoria, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
