Victoria Pratko, BSN, RN, CEN

I came in via ambulance with horrible back spasms unable to walk without unexplainable pain. Had a day full of tests and medicine that gave me no hope. Had a doctor tell me I could stay in an ER room till the next day and go to a rehab for physical therapy. I just wanted to go home but I couldn’t get up. Victoria constantly helped move me so I wouldn’t use my muscles and cleaned my bed pads no matter how many times I used the restroom which is embarrassing at 33 years old. I cried horribly from either pain or missing my kids who rely on me for care, one having cerebral palsy and one being autistic. Victoria got me a room to try and held my hand, promised to pray for me and my babies, and gave me hope when I had none. No one deserves a Victoria but the world could use more of them.
