Victoria Ramirez, RN

I nominated Victoria Ramirez for her incredible critical thinking skills, her compassion, and her enthusiasm to care for each patient in the PACU. As she was caring for a patient last week, she noticed some changes, used her critical care expertise, and called for assistance. The patient did need some assistance with bagging. The patient did well and was taken to the ICU. When the patient opened his eyes and saw Victoria, he told her that he did not know if he was dreaming but that he saw an angel at his side. Tears rolled down his face as he told her what he had experienced. He thanked her for caring for him. I told Victoria that she was his angel. She is an amazing nurse and dedicated to her patients.
