Victoria Roeben, BSN, RN

Victoria is an angel in disguise! At nearly 82 years old and having never been brought to a hospital by ambulance, it was a rather traumatic experience for me. At 3:00 a.m. I was brought to my room and cheerfully greeted by one of the sweetest young ladies I’ve ever encountered. Victoria immediately put me at ease with her competent, friendly, and caring demeanor. She anticipated my needs before I even expressed them. Clearly, her heart is in her work, and caring for others is a calling. She is well trained, but her natural kindness shines through.

Victoria never failed to greet me when she arrived and say “goodbye” when she was leaving. She certainly deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary job she does, but I’m sure she’d be the last to expect it. She exemplifies all that a nurse should be.
