I’m a cardiac nurse at HH and do not know about OB. I had already had a rough go with my labor and was not about to deliver vaginally. I was lying on the table for my c-section and heard Tori say, "I don’t know if you remember me, but we went to nursing school together, and I’m going to be taking care of your baby." She did just that from her shift Monday through the Wednesday she worked. I stayed in the hospital with blood pressure issues, so I was already stressed about that. Having Tori care for my baby, I did not have to worry about him. It took the stress off an already stressful situation for me.

Tori was wonderful during our postpartum stay. We had our twins at Madison, and I was so nervous as this was our first pregnancy. Tori showed amazing care and made us laugh constantly. I know she was caring for multiple patients that week, and she never once seemed frustrated. We are so glad we had her as our nurse for two days. I hope everyone has a nurse like Tori after the delivery.

Thank you, Victoria, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
