June 2026 Honoree
Victoria Sullivan 2026, RN
We want to recognize Victoria Sullivan, RN, Case Manager.
We had a very sad guardianship patient on our floor who remained in the hospital for close to 100 days. She developed trust for Vicki in the short time she was in the ED prior to admission. Any time she was confused or upset, Vicki made time to comfort her.
Vicki brought her some clothing items she was lacking and also acknowledged her with candy (which she loved) on Valentine’s Day and Easter. Vicki even colored her hair on her day off and arranged for her to have a haircut in-house. Vicki would use her own breaks to take her for walks off of the unit, outside when the weather permitted.
When the day came for the patient to leave to go to long-term care, which was not her choice, Vicki met her over there and stayed until the evening to ensure a smooth transition. She is one of a kind!
