Tori has shown exceptional compassion while caring for my loved one and has built a trusting, empathetic connection with our family. While I could list countless examples of the extraordinary care she has provided, one moment stands out above all others.

I asked Tori to explain the stem cell transplant process and what we should expect. She took the time to carefully and honestly walk me through every step while also helping to calm my anxiety. As I anticipated the long and difficult road ahead for my loved one, I found myself overwhelmed. Tori not only answered my questions but also reassured me with a heartfelt hug. She reminded me that Jesse would remain on the HOT Unit, surrounded by the nurses and caregivers we had come to know and trust. I will never forget the extra time and compassion she gave us that day.

Speaking of time, I do not think Tori has ever worked just a 12-hour shift. On one occasion, she stayed well beyond the end of her shift to make sure my loved one was stable and that we had everything we needed before she left. She did it all with a smile, genuine empathy, and unwavering support.

Tori consistently took the time to collaborate with my loved one's care team to ensure he was receiving everything he needed. She never left the room without first making certain that we were okay, always asking if there was anything else she could do before leaving with her warm, sincere smile.

Tori made us feel respected, supported, and genuinely cared for. Not only were every one of my loved one's needs met through her exceptional clinical care, but she also cared for our family with the same compassion and dedication.
