Vijaya went above and beyond for my newborn and me. I was fortunate enough to have her as my dayshift nurse our entire stay. As a first-time mom, I was clueless and anxious about all that motherhood brings.

Vijaya helped me by continuously teaching me about everything I needed to care for my baby and myself. Things as simple as swaddling seem hard when you’ve never done them before. She was there for any questions and always seemed more than happy to help. She dedicated so much time to us.

When I started getting anxious, she educated me on the importance of remaining calm and helped me practice breathing exercises. I didn’t understand the importance of my emotions in my recovering state but with her education, I learned how dangerous it could become. I feel she saved me from possibly having further complications.

I am a nurse myself so I can truly appreciate and understand the amount of time that she invested with us. Her nurturing and caring nature seemed so effortless; I know she must treat all her patients the same. I will forever be grateful for all she did for us.
