My brother has been in many hospitals and rehab centers. He had been ignored, reprimanded, and belittled by many medical staff.  My brother was a difficult patient, but she was dedicated, patient, and amazing, going above and beyond expectations.  But more than that, she treated him with respect and dignity, which he often did not get at other facilities.  My brother did pass away, but we are so grateful for this nurse (angel).  He felt safe in her care and had not felt safe for years at other facilities. Henry Ford Macomb has many other caring staff members.  Thank you.

There are people who do what’s expected, and then there is this nurse who made herself available with such a wonderful attitude to my son. She was at my son’s beck and call and kept him comfortable.  She was a comfort to my son, our family, and me when we had to leave him in the care of your staff.

Vilma is literally the best nurse in this hospital!  She made a scary time less scary and was very reassuring.  She deserves to be recognized for all of her hard work and dedication to her patients and their families.
