July 2025 Honoree
Vincent Alcedo, RN
I was a patient in ICU for 11 days. This was a very frightening experience after coming off a ventilator. I had many questions and was very forgetful of what he told me.
Vincent never seemed bother to tell me again and again. He was always trying to make me feel comfortable. He was also very supportive of my husband and daughter. He helped them through their fears and questions.
I feel he went above and beyond mentally and physically for me and my family. One night he went home and did research on my condition, spoke to the Doctor, and had them add on new medications to my regimen which seemed to help. This showed empathy and compassion.
