My father was under critical care from Monday to Wednesday. We witnessed Vincent exhibit a tremendous amount of patience and professionalism while taking care of my father. This is very important to us as my father is non-verbal, so extra care is needed with him. Even though Vincent had a busy schedule, he took the time to constantly check my father's conditions and showed a lot of patience informing us, the family, of my father's conditions.
Vincent was very friendly from the start. He would come to work early and greet us and the patient. He is not Chinese but to put us at ease, would use his Chinese skills to communicate. He was always checking on my father and paid attention to details. He made sure to increase room temperature when changing my father, a gesture not many nurses normally would do. He made us feel safe to leave my father in his care.
We felt Vincent is an amazing asset to the hospital. He is professional, hardworking, and truly a DAISY Nurse.
