I cannot describe in words how healing and amazing my stay on 7 West was for the past four days while I recovered from neck surgery. I am an anxious person by nature. I can’t describe the level of anxiety I experienced following this lengthy surgery performed (exquisitely) by my neurosurgeon and his equally talented team. The first face I remember from 7 West belongs to Vinny Orbita. He is a kind and knowledgeable nurse. He is also a calm and delightful young man! It was obvious how much he cares for his patients. His presence alone soothed my ailments and lowered my anxiety. No request or question was too small for Vinny. Knowing and believing that Vinny cared deeply for my recovery- allowed me to relax and release my ever-present anxiety. This experience renewed my faith in people. Vinny went above and beyond, giving medical and soulful attention to his patients. I am forever grateful for the outstanding care I received while recovering from surgery on 7 West. This care I received literally brought tears to my daughter’s eyes. Her gratitude was matched by the care I was awarded at 7 West
