My mother has been hospitalized for almost a month, ten days on the fifth floor and twelve days on the fourth floor. When my mother was admitted to the fourth floor, she was very demanding and needy. She only began to relax when Ms. Recalde became her nurse. Ms. Recalde interacted with my mother in a compassionate manner with patience and humor. On her day off, she came to visit my mother. Ms. Recalde went far beyond what she had to do and managed to put a smile back on my mother’s face. She answered all my family’s questions and there were many! She is truly an outstanding nurse!
