Viorica Valdez, RN

Viorica saw a lonely patient that was not allowed to have visitors, and spent some quality time with the patient, really caring for them. She brushed the patient's hair, brushed her teeth, helped the patient eat, got the patient comfortable with new sheets and blankets, and found an Astros game. She even went to Walgreens on her lunch break to buy some Fixodent for the patient. She reminded the staff that day why we love this profession.
