On our busy Medical-Surgical Unit, during the pandemic, one of our patients recognized Virginia Aquino for her dedication to the mission of our facility and for providing quality healthcare with a personal touch.

The patient said, “Virginia cared for me as if I were family. The tenderness compassion and care she shared with me eased my pain and my worried mind. I am so thankful for her. You have a great gift and those who you meet you touch their hearts. Thank you for sharing your gift with me. She tucked me in and kept a smile on my face. I came into the hospital scared and in pain. Her support showed me there is still beauty and kindness in the world. I came into the hospital as a sick stranger. After meeting Virginia I felt my spirit lifted, I felt like family. Virginia, you are worth your weight in gold. If I hit the lotto, I am coming back for you!”

Virginia celebrated 30 years with our company this year and every day she touches another patient's life!
