Virginia Ayala, RN

I came in one day, not able to hold very much down including food and drinks. I felt like I was not going to get better and then Virginia came in and we had some conversations where I told her I felt like was failing not only as a diabetic, but an aunt, granddaughter, and sister. I felt that I didn't want to continue with life because of all my health issues. She made me feel like I could change things for myself as long as I kept going.

At this time I was really struggling with school and mentally and even with my health. She really changed my mind about life. Because of her words and the amazing care she provided, I finished school and got my high school diploma and even though I have new health issues coming up I still continue to keep going and I will continue the rough fight no matter what. Because of Virginia, I really do want to go into the medical field and help others like her.
