Thanks to Virginia's dedicated care, my father felt safe and cared for, which significantly contributed to his healing.
Virginia provided exceptional care to my father during his time in the Surgical ICU at the VA. Her attention to detail and compassionate approach made a world of difference in his recovery process. He is alive and thriving because of her! Virginia went above and beyond by not only addressing my father's medical needs but also ensuring he felt comfortable and supported emotionally. She took the time to explain procedures, answer our questions, and provide reassurance during a challenging time. Nothing was ever a silly question; too much information was never too much. She explained everything, no matter how minor it was, like the pumps for his legs and the importance of getting out of bed and washing up.
Virginia treated my father with the utmost respect and compassion. She listened to his and my concerns, treated him with dignity, and made sure he was never alone during difficult moments. Her kindness and empathy truly shone through in every interaction. Thanks to Virginia's dedicated care, my father felt safe and cared for, which significantly contributed to his healing. Her presence made a challenging situation more manageable for our family, and I genuinely believe I lived because of her efforts. Virginia deserves recognition for her outstanding dedication to her patients. Her commitment to excellence in nursing and her genuine compassion for those in her care make her a true asset to the VA and the nursing profession as a whole. She changed the face of the VA hospital; they need to hire more people like her.
