I have been in and out of hospitals for years. I have had Crohn's since I was 16 years old. I have never had a nurse as great as Virginia. She took the time to explain every detail, to what was going on. She stood late with me many times, once due to a test. And another due to printing me out school information. As I told her my dream was to go back to school. I spoke to a couple other nurses and staff here. And they all stated how great Virginia was! I always said a nurse's job is not for everyone, but it sure is for Virginia. As you sit here scared of the unknown; What's going to happen? Am I going to be okay? You need comfort, someone who cares. And kind of understands how scared you are. Before I left, I wanted to thank Virginia so much, for making me feel I was going to be okay. And for taking the extra step to make sure I was just that. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you!
