Virginia went out of her way to make my patient who was suffering from alcohol withdrawal a salad. The patient calmed down and was very satisfied with his service. Another example of Virginia being an extraordinary co-worker was the time we had to call a code gray and she was able to calm the patient down and called the family in to assist. She is very resourceful, strong and passionate person about her job, teammates, and patients. As a current employee, I look up to her and know when she is here no matter what situation arises she will be right there on the floor assisting and working along with the nursing staff. She is a true definition of teamwork and caring for patients.
