Visesh was there to assure me that I had nothing to fear. He was soft-spoken yet his demeanor was focused, skilled, and professional.
So far, I’ve only had two surgical procedures in my life. Both procedures were performed at Little Company of Mary Hospitals and thank God for that!! Recently, my doctor, The Cardiovascular Master, scheduled me for an Angioplasty at the Torrance facility. Initially, I was a little nervous until I arrived at the hospital and met my RN, Visesh (Angio Recovery Extraordinaire).

He offered me his hand. He was very polite, respectful, and warm. I thought that I was dreaming. I was the first patient scheduled in the unit early that morning. Once I entered the Angio Recovery Unit, I was overwhelmed by the silence; the empty beds, and the shimmering metallics which echoed my every step. Visesh was there to assure me that I had nothing to fear. He was soft-spoken yet his demeanor was focused, skilled, and professional. At that moment, I knew that I was in good hands. I trusted the staff because Visesh was on the job and in charge!!

After my procedure, Visesh went out of his way to see that I was comfortable. His attentiveness was almost like being on patrol. He watched my breathing levels and monitored my blood pressure like a soldier. I never expected such care, such gentleness, and so much kindness. He explained to me in detail about my recovery process in and out of the hospital. Lastly, he communicated with my daughter who was waiting for me in the waiting room. He put her at ease because she was a little nervous and anxious about my prognosis. He also verified with my daughter that she understood how to care for me once we arrived home. My day in the hospital was monumental not only because I was blessed by God but also because I was given the best care by the best nurse, Visesh.

I would like to thank my nurse Visesh. He demonstrates his knowledge by being competent and efficient. He honestly cares about what he does and cares for his patients. He displayed no cultural division, only empathy when I was helpless and incapacitated. I will never forget how he treated me or his high quality of care.
