My elderly mother recently underwent a lung biopsy and Vivian went above and beyond to ensure her comfort both physically and emotionally. She took her time in explaining what she was doing and why. My mother was very anxious and needed a lot of reassurance and Vivian never seemed rushed or irritated with her questions. I am a retired RN and have met many healthcare professionals over the years. Vivian showed exemplary compassion and kindness toward our family.

As a patient who was diagnosed with cancer, I have met with many healthcare professionals from medical physicians to scrubs. I would very much like to tell you about a truly wonderful employee at Banner Baywood Medical Center. Today I was finishing my many chemotherapy treatments. Since Banner Baywood had an appointment opening today for the removal of my port, I ran to the hospital. This would mark the end of my cancer treatment. Because of the many prescribed treatments, I have met with dozens of different medical personnel. I must be living right, because as luck would have it, Vivian was my nurse in Medical Imaging. She was funny and had me laughing. The best part for me, she was kind and she made me laugh in a very worrisome situation. And most importantly, I trusted her implicitly.
