Viviana Taberes-Ellertson, Registered Nurse

I don’t know where to begin, so I’ll start with her knowledge of my situation. I have been stuck in shame and guilt for 30 years. Viviana and I sat down and talked, and I have begun to release some of that guilt/shame one day at a time. I came here for SUD/suicidal ideations. Viviana has helped me look at all that I’ve gone through and that I’m still here, and to be proud and hold my head up. As I watch her work, I see she has the ability to connect with her clients, especially me. When I needed to see my social worker or doctor, she didn’t let up until that happened. This was above and beyond, considering the short staff. Because of our 1-on-1 conversations, one thing comes to mind: “Get busy living or get busy dying.” I do have a choice, and I choose life.
