At times, Vlad would pop his head in to see if I’m doing okay and if I needed anything.
I nominated Vlad for the DAISY Award because of his patience with me and keeping up with my care when I couldn’t. Vlad was my midnight shift nurse. I had a stent placed for my kidney stone blockage. Vlad was able to help me keep my pain under control by making sure I took my medications on time. Vlad also assisted me for bathroom use. Poor Vlad, I pushed the nurse’s button almost every hour! I felt so bad for Vlad, but he did not seem bothered at all. He told me to always call him when I needed assistance. At times, Vlad would pop his head in to see if I’m doing okay and if I needed anything. I felt safe and well taken care of. He gave me the energy I needed because I was so tired. I thank Vlad for his hard work and being patient with me!
