I have spent over two weeks in ward 1B, and of all the nurses, Von has demonstrated all the criteria (professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity, excellence, communication, compassion, sensitivity), in my view, deserving of this recognition. He has administered all medications and treatments in a professional manner, fully aware of my medical condition and what needs to be done. He has clearly communicated at all stages of treatment what is being done.

Of all the nursing staff encountered, he has impressed me with his efficiency and knowledge. Von took time to demonstrate to my wife how dressings needed to be changed and allowed her to perform these under his direction and supervision before discharge. A credit to NMC Royal!
