My 95-year-old father was admitted late on Friday evening, after sitting the whole day in the Emergency Room. Wade was his nurse all weekend. Wade played a pivotal role in helping with communication, both with my mother and father. He understood that my 93-year-old mother was overwhelmed with the situation and was not thinking clearly. He recognized the multifaceted challenges we were facing with a confused mother and a father who didn’t want to be in the hospital.

Wade’s approach was patient-centered, and he recognized my father's complex health needs. Through his evaluation, he recognized and provided essential insights to the family and was clear and concise about the potential risks that required intervention. Wade embodies nurses' commitment to delivering compassionate, individualized care to their patients. He is a dedicated nurse who advocates for his patients, treating them with the utmost respect and dignity.
