I would like to nominate Wafa Al Sablan from PICU as a recipient of The DAISY Award. This nurse's clinical skill and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model, as per the criteria.

Wafa Al Sablan joined the PICU two years ago; she is a very dedicated and hardworking nurse. She is an accountable, responsible nurse, and always willing to go the extra mile to help others. She has a positive attitude towards her work. She always makes sure the patients and the unit are safe.

There are times she stays behind to help the other to complete their work. She was voluntarily involved in organizing and facilitating the Nursing Symposium Day 2024. She also voluntary joins with the research team (PICU link nurse). We are happy to have Wafa in our team; she is an asset to the unit.
