When I came in for my multivitamin and vitamin D injections, I was honestly dreading it. The thought of going through that pain for several days in a row had me extremely worried. I wasn’t looking forward to the visit at all. Throughout my appointment, Nurse Wafa had already been helping me, but I didn’t realize she would also be the one giving me the injection that night. When I said how scared and anxious I was, she didn’t dismiss it or rush through it. Instead, she made me feel completely heard. She reassured me that it was okay to be worried and acknowledged that the injection really does hurt. That alone made me feel understood. Then she gently walked me through the whole process, speaking with so much calm and care.

What stood out the most was how she kept me distracted with small talk until I felt relaxed enough to continue. She somehow turned a moment I feared into something I could handle. She was gentle, patient, and incredibly comforting. Because of Wafa, I left feeling so much better not exactly excited for the next dose, but no longer scared. She made the entire experience feel safer, easier, and far less intimidating than I ever expected. Her kindness made a meaningful difference, and I’m genuinely grateful for how she supported me through something I was so anxious about.

Thank you, Wafa, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
