Wakisha is such a stellar nurse. A patient came in via paramedic with her two children. While the other nurses worked on the mom, Wakisha stayed to entertain the kids. The mother had to have a C/S. At the end of the mother's stay at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital, Wakisha bought two pairs of shoes for her kids. The reason why she brought the shoes is that the kids arrived at the hospital without any. Wakisha saw a need and took the initiative to meet that need. The mom was sooo very grateful for such a caring nurse who went out of her way to do such a kind thing for her and her children.
