Walker Whittemore, RN

I was seen in the ER for what was then called a threatened miscarriage. This is the second time in a matter of 4 months that I have gone through this, however, this time around things were so different that I needed to come to the ER. Walker greeted me and was beyond helpful and thoughtful from the second he became my Nurse. Being a male Nurse and dealing with this situation, Walker was beyond thoughtful and knew exactly what I needed at that moment before I could even ask.

He made sure I was always warm with blankets and was always stopping by and checking in. He was busy that day but he still managed to make me feel like I was the only person he was caring for. He even checked in before I left to make sure I was ok and had everything I needed set up at home. As I was leaving, he handed me a care bag that was made up by one of the ER techs that was for mothers who were going through a miscarriage.

He didn't know it, but he has left a forever imprint on my heart. He went above and beyond his calling. I will continue to use Porter for my emergency needs due to the care that Walker provided! The world needs more Nurses like him!
