I was admitted on the 4th-floor unit and I must say the entire staff here at HNMC has been exceptional.
I must highlight one nurse, in particular, Kitty, for her professionalism, care, and compassion that went above and beyond. She always made sure I was comfortable, wasn't in pain or if I just needed anything.
The day of my surgery, I was very hungry, anxious and a little nasty to her. I explained to her how hungry I was in a not so nice way or manner. She made sure that my dinner was delivered after surgery and confirmed that I received all I requested. Despite how nasty I was she kept a smile and worked with me to be happy.
