Wanda met our grandson a year ago when he spoke no English and needed a translator for his native Oshiwambo from Namibia. Then she was his pre and post-operative nurse for CO2 laser in May 2019 and she was impressed with his mastery of English and his calm demeanor. Wanda is kind, patient, compassionate, never seems hurried and is obviously skillful. She bonded with him immediately and was thorough in going over post-operative instructions. We are appreciative of all that Shriners has done for our grandson. Wanda is a perfect example of the expert care and compassion which is the hallmark of Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galveston. We are endlessly grateful.
