I am a Type I Diabetic, so I have had my share of health scares. During the most terrifying time of my life, when my kidneys gave out I had to start Dialysis. Ms. Wanda was a warm, calm, and reassuring safe haven from the chaos around me. With a smile and a good dose of laughter, she slowly taught me about what was happening and what I now needed to know to live with this. Holding my hand through panic attacks, making me laugh when I could not even smile. Teaching me how to live with this once scary monster. She has turned kidney failure & Dialysis into something I now know I can handle. She truly is a light that shines bright and a nurse who will forever be in my heart. She is a DAISY Nurse.
