I first met Wanda about three months ago at Walmart. At that time, I did not know her name or that she was a nurse. Wanda was beside me in the check-out line. After the cashier finished scanning my items, I realized I could not find my wallet. Wanda gave the cashier the money to pay for my items, which was $59.72. I tried to get her name and phone number so I could pay her back, but she would not tell me. So I gave her a hug and thanked her.

I did not see Wanda again until last week when I was in my best friend's hospital room in ICU. She came into the room and introduced herself as Wanda and told us she would be her nurse for the night. I was glad to see her again and tried once again to repay her. Wanda said no that I would stop her blessing.

Wanda is one of the nicest nurses and always has a smile on her face. She is always willing to do whatever she can for patients and family members. She is a great resource for information as well. While I was visiting at the hospital, I witnessed her helping co-workers. Wanda not only takes care of patients and family members in your hospital, she takes care of people outside the hospital too. Wanda is an extraordinary person and nurse!

Thank you, Wanda, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
